    Protecting some of worksheet

    Hi all,

I'm trying to protect my worksheet except for the check-boxes i have on it (these check-boxes allow the user to intertact with the data). When i go down the usual route of unchecking the 'Locked' checkbox in Format it does nothing.

Anyone know how to do this?

Just change any cells you want to edit to not locked, the protect the worksheet Format>Protect Sheet.

Thanks Bob. Its not actually a cell which i need to be unprotected tho - its a checkbox.

I understand that, I said unlock cells so that some cells are left editable. By protecting the sheet, the checkbox is still checkable.
