Sum function

Hello,

I have 2 columns one with prices and another with a code

I like to sum up de total for each different code. Is that possible in one square?

For example

10 a
20 b
15 a
35 c
40 b
36 d


No i want the sum of all a's is that possible?

=SUMIF(B1:B6,"=a",A1:A6)
