    need help for date...

    Another formula needed...!!!!

IF cell O70 is greater than (Cell N10-5), Cell N10 is a Date
then Cell P70 will show "Regular"

IF cell 070 is less than (Cell N10-5),
then cell P70 will show "Irregular"

IF Cell O70 is blank then P70 will also blank.

    Please advise me a formula..

    Thanks in advance......

    =IF(O70="","",IF(O70>N10-5,"Regular","Irregular"))

    Hi Senjutik,

Use the following formula in P70 :-

    =IF(O70="","",IF(O70>N10-5,"Regular","Irregular"))

@dilipandey: then what was the value of your post, ten minutes after the question had been answered ... other than to up your post count? That's something you seem to have a done a few times.

    Hi TMShucks,

I always try and pick up the posts with zero replies and sometime it happens that by the time I reply back, it is been already answered by some one and in some rare cases the answer matches as well. I have also observed, many times, that my answer / suggestion are being repeated by someone and I take that positively as we all are here to help others in what ever mean we can. Hope this is justified and acceptable.

@dilipandey: it may pay you to refresh the thread before you post what turns to be an identical or very similar answer. Otherwise, you may earn yourself an undeserved reputation for plagiarism. This clearly has been noticed by others and will not serve to enhance your reputation.

I have no problem with building on an existing answer and I think we all do that sometimes. Equally, it can often be the case that there are very similar or identical answers in a short time span ... which can be put down to "great minds thinking alike".
