    Copy and paste

    Hello All,

I have a master sheet, where I update new extra data and copy recently entered data to new worksheet "Sheet3" for mail merge. I am using simply copy and paste command. Is it any other way to copy and paste recently entered data to sheet 3? Your suggestion is highly appreciated. Sample file is also attached herewith. Thank you.

    Hi Indra Rai,

Another way could be VBA (macro)... if you are fine with this, you need to define the "new extra data" i.e., is there any date or other identifier referring which one can identify new extra data, which would be copied to sheet 3 using macro. Thanks.

    Ok..

Created a little macro which will copy the highlighted rows from sheet 1 and append into sheet 3.
So if you have selected cells a4 and a5, the rows 4 and 5 will get copied to sheet 3. Button is in cell A1. Thanks.

    hello,
    in my opinion
    > Right click on sheet in (footer option)
    > click to "move or copy"
    > select the sheet you need to copy
    > mark to "create a copy"
    > and click "OK"
    tray it,
    thanks,
