Highlight when date is approaching

Hi Folks,

Firstly sorry if this question has been answered before but the answers to similar questions dont seem to specifically answer mine (if that makes sense lol)

I have a colum that has dates in it. These dates are the dates that patients scripts are next due. All I want to do is use conditional formatting on that entire column so that 7 days prior to that script due the cell turns red......simple! But I'll be damned im i can get it to work. It also needs to stay red until i then delete that date (when i print a script) and entre the NEXT due date.

The formula im using is in the attached image.

Any help would be appreciate is this doesnt seem to be working for me for some reason.

Hi,

Use the 'Formula Is' option within conditional formatting and:

=A1-NOW()<=7

Your conditional formatting should work, if your dates are in the formula range!

Try changing column A dates to 10/2/12, 11/2/12......etc.
