    hello

    how todisplay text after ranking numbers..


    Rank text to display
    5 5th placer
    8 8th placer
    2 2nd placer
    4 4th place
    9 9th place
    1 Champion
    3 3rd place




    goes down to 50 rows.
    I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

    If i'll create a table then use vlookup/match does this affect the speed?

    rows will be 50.

    on 50 rows i dont think you would notice a speed difference, but i think technicaly it would be to do a lookup. you could also use this formula:

    =IF(A1=1,"Champion",A1&INDEX(E$1:E$10,RIGHT(A1,1)+1)&" Place")

    where E1:E10 contains these entries

    Sorry my above would not account for 11,12,13 I did a quick search and came up with this:

    =IF(A1=1,"Champion",A1&MID("thstndrdth",MIN(9,2*RIGHT(A1)*(MOD(A1-11,100)>2)+1),2)&" Place")
