    Bookmarking a cell

In Excel97 it is possible to bookmarka cell using “Select a cell. Insert. Name. Define.” Then one can go to this cell from another part of the spreadsheet by pressing cntrl+K, clicking on Named location in file, Browse, Defined name.

What is the corresponding procedure in Excel 2007 please?

Excel 2007 Help, goes into a very complicated example.

    Re: Bookmarking a cell

    Hi George,

    Welcome to the forum.

Ctrl +K is a shortcut to Insert Hyperlink.
Alt + I + N + D is a shortcut which I used to consider to go to Name Manager and there we used to define names. Alternatively, I used to define the simple names by just selecting the data range and typing in the name in the field which is available on the left side of formula bar - And I just checked both of these options are available in higher version of Excel (just checked in Excel 2010 and should be same in Excel 2007). Thanks.
