    Minus (-) written as symbol

    Hi!

I wonder if there is option to write in cell just symbol minus (-), because when I try to write it down and press enter it automaticly trying to get some formula.

Hope you know what I mean and that someone has the answer.

If you use the single quote ' before something it takes is as a text literal. Though, I'm with Pepe...my minus enters fine. Unless you are trying to do 2-3 and then it converts it to a date or something.

Re: Minus (-) written as symbol

Sorry guys for asking this stupid question!

I am so emberesed. It is working fine, it is just that I was trying to write it into formula line and not into a cell directly and every time it was trying to get some formula so I was looking up on internet and then asking here.

Although if you write '- into formula line it does takes it as text, so thank you for that and sorry again.

    Have a nice day
