Help creating summary table clearly displaying output changes due to parameter adjustment

I've built a highly parameterized spreadsheet detailing an organization's budget, and I'd like to create a summary document that displays the impact on the bottom line if certain changes are made. (ie changing hourly wage rate, etc) It seems like there has to be a better way to do this than just changing the parameters and making a separate summary table out of hard numbers. Is there a way to program excel to show you what the contents of one cell would be if another cell (or cells) was changed?

Thanks for your help.

mods, if this doesn't belong in general, please move it. I just wasn't sure exactly where to ask.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Unless you want a vba solution, this forum is fine

What you want sounds do-able, but without seeing what you are working with, layout etc, its almost impossible to suggest anything
I would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
