Countdown Clock

I need to create a powerpoint with an embedded Excel Macro enable workbook that can countdown days and minutes to an event. I believe a macro must first be created in Excel and then embed that Excel workbook into PPT and then run the PPT in a loop to display on a monitor in an office environment. Can this be done?

Then you need to learn how to use google. Google "countdown clock powerpoint" there are thousands of them.
