Page numbering help

I have a spreadsheet that I would like to have the page numbers go like 1-1,1-2,1-3,2-1,2-2,2-3,3-1 and so on.

Is there any way to do this in Excel?

Did you tried insert footer/header ???


Then edit using like this...
in the footer or header

Page &[Page] - &[Pages]

Yes I've tried that. That just gives me the page number out of the total pages (Page 1-45, Page 2-45, etc)

I would like it to number the pages every 3 pages, as the data is is related every set of three pages.

I would like it to go something like 1a,1b,1c,2a,2b,2c or 1-1,1-2,1-3,2-1,2-2,2-3
