Cell colour depending on Max result.

    Hello there forums.

Is it possible to change cell colour depending on which anwser was given by Max function?

For example, I have two possibilities in Max, if the first is chosen the colour changes to red, and if the second, then it changes to blue.

    Thank You for Your reply.

    Hi, welcome to the forum

    You mean something like this?

    =IF(MAX(A1:A10)>100,"green","red"), in Cond Form rules?
    Regards

    Fotis.

OH! That I didnt think of! Thank You.

Truly, when using If I can make this, then just give else for the second colour .

What I want to do, is:
Calculate the bigger between two variables, then highligh which one was bigger.

When using if, else, will it BOTH give the bigger of those two and change the colour?

    Fotis,

if I understand you correctly,in CF the IF is not needed =max(a1:a10)>100 will suffice as CF. The IF is implicit

    @ Pepe.

I angree, but my intention was to underastand OP, what i mean...

    @FerrumIgnotus

As Pepe said, in cond form rules, don't use the IF function.

If you can not handle it, then upload a sample workbook, to show you.
