    Variable Cell Reference, A(B10):A100

    I'm trying to use the following inside a function:

    A(B1):A100 (where B1=10 or whatever the cell is equal to)

    So the above would really be A10:A100

    Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks!

    Take a look at the help on the OFFSET() function. Sorry, got to go.

    Perhaps =indirect("A"&B1&":a100") ?

    Maybe post a sample sheet so we can eventually come up with an alternative if necessary

    Better to avoid the volatile function INDIRECT() where possible.

    Try the non-volatile alternative
