Lookup cell in Workbook "A", if true then post contents of row into Workbook "B"

In Workbook "ELT" I want to check "MO" in "Workbook Division". If the month="JAN" then put the contents for the row into Workbook "ELT". How do I do this?

What do you mean you want to check "MO"?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Hi Nancy,

    Welcome to the forum.

I believe you mean month by "MO" also, it would be better if you could post a sample file. Thanks.

I am trying to pull the information from another worksheet, similar to this one, into this worksheet. I want it to look at "Month" in the other worksheet. If the month is "January" or whatever month, then pull that row into this worksheet. If it is not "January" then check the next row.

    Ok...

    - Do you want the information to be pulled using formula or VBA (macro) ?
    - where is that another sheet? OR do you want me to create a copy of existing sheet and then try pulling the January month data from that?

Thanks Dili. You can just create a duplicate document since they are the same. I prefer not to use a macro because that increases the potential for viruses, correct?
