    Change time format excel 2007

    Hi All
    Using excel 2007 column B contains dates in 24 hour format,I would like to change these times to 12 hour format as shown in column A.
    Thanks for any help given.

    06:20 18:20
    06:50 18:50
    07:20 19:20
    07:50 19:50
    08:20 20:20

    Select the cells, right click choose Format cells, click Time and select whatever time format you want from there

    In your example, you are losing the AM/PM status. How can this kind of time conversion work when your results can be 12 hours off?
