Merging Database Based on Common Attribute?

Is it possible to perform a quick operation that will merge databases based on a common attribute in excel? For instance in the screen shot below I created a simple database for this example. There are two seperate databases, and they have a common attribute column "animal type". Here is an example of two seperate databases

Here is the result after being merged on a common attribute.

Based on some of the reading I have done it seems this may be possible with a pivot table. Once you have made the pivot table to your liking is it possible the results as its own unique table?
