Merging Rows

I am attempting to merge rows.....I do not want to center the data. Just merge rows.....example: First Row is Name, next row indicates state, next row indicates state.....I want the text to remain in position however, I want the row to merge. Any help?

In the forth column use =A1 & B1 & C1 then copy and paste values and delete the first 3 columns.
