Question macro to filter cells, copy filtered, unfilter, then paste in next column

I want to systematically filter out blank cells from a column, copy only the non-blanks then unfilter and paste to the next column using one short-cut key.

I am quite unfamilar with macros but i have been using the "record macro". it displayes an error when i try to attempt this

I copied and pasted the columns in question. note that the non-blank numbers are dynamic when i insert different data. therefore it would be helpful if the macro would automatically update but if not its fine.

would a macro that just deletes blank rows (without moving other data) work for you? or do you want to preserve the original data?
