    IF statement question

    Hello,

    I am trying to write the following formula:

    Cell A: 1
    Cell B: 10
    Cell C: 5
    Cell D: 2

    if (Cell A>0,"sum(cell B+cell C)*cell D","0")

    It is not working...

    Can I use some other formula ?

    Re: IF statement question

    Is should be

    =IF(Cell A>0, (cell B+cell C)*cell D,0)
    You do not need the quotes and you do not need the SUM (Although that wasn't hurting)
    Does that work for you?

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

    Re: IF statement question

    You need to specify the cell by referring to the column "A" and row "1" etc. Without knowing what you are really trying to achieve this should point you in the right direction.

    =IF(A1>0,B1+C1,D1)
