Automatically sizing a table according to another tables size

    Hello,

I have two tables in the same worksheet and I want the number of rows to be the same. I am logging data into the first table and excel creates new rows automatically for this table. The second table though is calculating values from the first table and requires me to manually resize it if the first table ends up having more rows. I want to set the number of rows for the second table to equal however many rows are in the first table after I log my data. I would like to have this done automatically.

    Thank you!

    Brady

could you just combine both tables into a single table?

could you attach a sample sheet?

Re: Automatically sizing a table according to another tables size

I like your suggestion and actually did this for one of my worksheets. My other worksheets still need the tables to update their size (i.e. number of rows) automatically so that if I add a row to one table all the other tables add a row as well.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Re: Automatically sizing a table according to another tables size

    hey!

Yes I can. It is the worksheet called "MaxPower". I have a number of charts with tables below. When I update the data in table 1 (for the 405nm laser) I have the other tables updating automatically as well, but if I add a new line to the first table the other tables do not add a new line so the automatic update usefulness is negated unless I manually add another row to the other tables.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

This works great! Thanks for the code. It is confusing to me, but I pretty well understand it. I also created a button to subtract a row from each table.

    Thanks again.
