The printing - and onto good paper - is there an publishing application that I can export the file to and work on the format. Tone it up.

I am guessing the book is in many Worksheets inside just one workbook

So best option will be (depending on size), copy each worksheet to M$ Work and so reconstruct the workbook (worksheets) and one long Word document

If its BIG your next to export each worksheet to txt file and do the above or append after export each text file to the Word document via VBA

Either way i do not know of a publishing application to do this for you

Writing it in Word would have been a better place to start.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

thanks for that - the reason I picked excel is that there are many tables and jpeg images and dates - and it is all on the one worksheet

With hindsight that probably wasn't the best decision

Re: I wrote my book in Excel

You can get converters that will turn the pdf files into Word/Excel etc documents. There are some free on-line ones like this but when I've tried the Excel equivalent the results have been pretty poor to say the least. It all depends on the quality of your pdf which may not be bad if it's straight from Excel but you'd need to pay I think for anything more than a basic service.

Last option and it's a fairly slim one is to post a small sample of your document and someone may be able to see a pattern to it that would lend itself to constructing a word document. I understand the theory but such a task would be beyond me.

    Good luck,

    Dom

I have Excel 2010 and Adobe Acrobat Pro at work. I can try and covert a sample from Excel to PDF to Word and let you see if the results to your approval.

I've really no idea to be honest. It's not something I have any real experience of but there's usually a way.
