    Conditional Formatting- A Date Occuring...

    Hi,

I have a list of employees who are required to resubmit an applicaiton for a room and board allowance every six months from their hire date. I am looking to have the cell with thier hire date turn red or alert me in some way when an employee is two weeks from their due date to resubmit, or 5 and a half months from their hire date/ last submission.

I have attempted to use the conditional formatting tool however the options are limited and I don't know which formula to use. Please help!

The data looks like this (attached)

There are a couple options depending on your needs. The attachment assumes that the requirement is every 6 months based off of the hire date and NOT based off of the last date it was completed. So, if someone was late or early, it does not change the due date of the next requirement. Also, the conditional formatting alert will highlight the date 2 weeks in advance. It will automatically reset the day after the due date. If the alert should stay until it is complete, there will need to be a column added with some indicator that it is complete (i.e. the date of the last completion)and an edit to the conditional fomatting formula. See the attachment. Good luck!
