Deleting the Unique Values of Two Lists

    Hi,

I have two lists in two columns that I am trying to compare and match up (one is a customer list by sales, one includes only customers who have provided valid email addresses). The vast majority of the list entries are the same, but there are quite a few unique entries that I would like to get rid of.

I can highlight the unique entries using conditional formatting, but I am struggling to find a way to select the unique entries and delete those rows. I have tried the find & replace function but cannot get it to select the conditionally formatted cells (or their rows).

Is there an easier way of doing this other than manually selecting each entry and deleting the rows?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

With 2010, you should be able to filter by the background color of the cells then delete the rows showing. Does that work for you?

Perfect! I definitely did not think of that. It's been a long Tuesday...

    Thanks!
