Pivot Table help - Getpivotdata

Hi I need some help,

I am trying to create a report that reports the # of customers but I can not do it correctly.. I have attached my example. In the example I expect John to have 2 customers for January but it shows the # of sales of 5. Is there anyway to have it show just 2?
