you can use this formula
=WORKDAY(DATE(2012,M,1)2)
where M is the month in question

Or, with your date in A1, put this formula...
=WORKDAY(DATE(YEAR(A1);MONTH(A1);1)-1;2;Holidays)
This will also calculate holidays of the month....

An error is popping out when I use the above formula =WORKDAY(DATE(2012,February,1)2).

use the number 2 instead of the word February
=WORKDAY(DATE(2012,2,1)2)
Hi DGagnon & Fotis1991 I am so sorry but both formula seems not to work...this is my first time handling a function relating to date so please give me your kind consideration.
@DGagnon still an error is popping out.

sorry i was missing a comma, and i shoudl be looking one day further back, try this
=WORKDAY(DATE(2012,2,1)-1,2)
