    Weighted Average in Pivot Table

I am trying to make a pivot tabs that shows me a weighted average in a calculated field but I cannot seem to get the formula right. I look at a few thread that attempted to do the same thing, but they are not working.

I calculate weighted averages using the following formula:

Re: Weighted Average in Pivot Table

    Hi

I have done this by adding a supportive column "d" to get the multiplication of calls and rate.
    Name this column "Average"

    Copied down as needed

Now create a pivot table including the newly added field.
click in pivot table then click pivot table tab.

In tool section click formula and then calculated field
type the name and in formula type

    click Add then OK

    It should work now.

    See attached for an example
