    Counting days between set dates

I am doing atime sheet! - where I work there are lots of different shift patterns, for example a four week rolling rota.

Currently I have one week where people select days of the week they work I wondered if I could perhaps instead of putting what days are worked in one week, have 4 weeks and then how many hours are worked that day in a column, then for it to count how many days on that work pattern are worked and then a total of hours between two given dates.

Hope that makes sense and I’ve also attached an example of what formula I am currently using and an example of a four week work pattern.

Really hope you can help - I'm not always great at describing what I am after, so any questions please ask.

    Thanks
    K

Take a look at the attached.

I added an alternative to your workbook.

The Alternative sheet is used for data entry.
The Selections sheet is used for drop-down selection boxes.
The Reports sheet to for make reports.

Try entering a dozen or so lines of data into the Alternative sheet. Then on the Reports sheet, select the employee and start/end dates and click on the "Run Report" button. Macros must be enble on this workbook.
