Excel 2008 : how to change x axis data on excel 2008

Hi, I am trying to make a gant chart but I cant seem to assign TASKS to the x axis. It shows numbers instead.
Please help. Thanks a lot.

I tried to upload a screenshot of my chart in pdf only 269KB but it wont.
Hope someone can still help...

Welcome to the forum.

Would suggest you to upload the sample excelworkbook instead of pdf. click on "Go Advanced" while replying to this post and click on paper clip icon to attach. Thanks.

Are you clicking on the paper clip icon which appears in the first row of menu buttons in the next window you get after clicking on "Go Advanced" ?
