Help needed with Date counting

Hi All I am sure this is simple for someone out there.

I have a coloum of dates below

05/03/2012
05/03/2012
05/03/2012
05/03/2012
05/03/2012
13/03/2012
13/03/2012
14/03/2012
14/03/2012
14/03/2012
15/03/2012
15/03/2012
15/03/2012
15/03/2012
16/03/2012
16/03/2012
16/03/2012
16/03/2012
16/03/2012
21/03/2012
21/03/2012
22/03/2012
22/03/2012
23/03/2012
23/03/2012
24/03/2012
25/03/2012
26/03/2012
27/03/2012

There are 12 different dates in this range I would like a formula that work out how many different days they have been.

for example the next dates could be
25/4/12
25/5/12
13/6/12

Then this would take the total to 15 days.

Can anyone help?

This site shows how you can use a formula to create a list of unique values:

Then it would just be a matter of a COUNT function on the unique list.
