Copying URLs and text into Excel

    Hey all,

I'm having a weird issue. First off, I'm on a Mac... and I'm a little new to this being a PC myself. Anyway, I'm trying to copy text and text that is hyperlinked (i.e. "Jon is here" is hyperlinked to http://www.jmerriex.com) and paste that text into excel. When I do this to word there is no problem. In the above example "Jon is here" is hyperlinked and when clicked goes to the intended URL http://www.jmerriex.com. However, when I paste into excel "Jon is here" appears as text without any hyperlink. It doesn't matter what browser I copy from or if I copy from word, the URL doesn't come with.

Is there a way to make this happen? I know on PC it just happens since a co-worker using a PC is able to do it fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    ~Jon
