Excell downloaded template of a time card

I can't change the graded colors in cells to white, i.e., to color, no shading and no grading. Otherwise I can unprotect the cells and change contents at will. I need to make them white even when empty. I can only attach a PDF of the file as althoug I downloaded the template from Excell on my computer I can not find it.
I tried to attach the file, but the means of doing that is not obvious. I don't know that it was successful.
