Pulling data from a table that can change in size and grouping it

I have a a set of raw data that is imported from another data source. The number of rows can increase or decrease with each import. Here is an example of the raw data below.

    Client Alignment 2
    Client Alignment 6
    Contract Records & Management 7
    Contract Records & Management 3
    Corp Facility Mgmt 14
    Corp Facility Mgmt 2
    Information Comms & Tech 8
    Information Comms & Tech 3
    Information Comms & Tech 4
    Information Comms & Tech 8
    Information Comms & Tech 3
    Information Comms & Tech 8
    Information Comms & Tech 10
    Information Comms & Tech 20
    Procurement Perfrmnce Mgr 4
    Procurement Perfrmnce Mgr 5
    Property Administration 3
    Property Administration 0
    Rail & Network Procurment 10
    Road Fleet 6
    Road Fleet 13
    Strategy & Corporate Services 17
Strategy Planning & Bus Info 8

I need a formula that can pull this data automatically into another table and increase/decrease the number of rows without affecting the formatting that is present within the table and without leaving any blank/empty cells.

From this table i then need it to group the informaton into its categories and total count as the below table shows using the above values.

    Client Alignment 8
    Contract Records & Management 10
    Corp Facility Mgmt 17
    Information Comms & Tech 65
    Procurement Performance Mgr 9
    Property Administration 4
    Rail & Network Procurement 10
    Road Fleet 18
    Strategy & Corporate Services 17
Strategy Planning & Bus Info 8

Cheers for help in advance guys.

I'm not certain I understand the first part.

You get data like the first table. Then do you want to REPLACE an old one like it? Or APPEND the new version onto the old version? Or am I missing something else?

Basically the data is pulled into a spreadsheet in raw format and looks like the larger table above. The number of row entires can vary with each data update.

This information in then extracted into a 'Customer Friendly' worksheet with appropriate formatting etc. Due to the fact the number of entries changes with each update i want to formulate the extraction so that once the raw data is placed in the data sheet it pulls automatically into the 'Customer Friendly' page without the need for any adding or removing rows.

Currently i have to manually copy and paste and reformat the data every time an update is carried out.
