numbers increasing

Hello,
Whenever it comes to digit or number when i bulk add the digit to all the empty cell/fields in that column, all those digit will increase. For example i want this current column to have 12345 and i already made one, so im doing it to the rest of the cell/field under that cell, once i do that, the next cell will have 12346, then in an pattern increasing the numbers. I want the number to stay the same, but for texts when i duplicate it the same way i work with digit, it works fine.

Hi Mike,

How are you filling the rest of the cells below that one? If you use the Fill Handle and drag downward, the number should stay the same. You can always select the first cell through the last cell you want to fill and use Fill > Down on the Home ribbon.
