How to move X axis on chart

I have two lines graphed that are based upon positive and negative percentages values. My X-axis runs right at the 0% mark and right in the middle of my lines. I have attached my work and wanted to know if anyone could help me re-design my chart so it looks cleaner. Thanks!

BTW I right-clicked on the X-axis, chose "Format axis" and chose "Low" under "Axis Labels".

It was very cluttered with dates. I did them in increments of 5 years, so the data points match up. I did it in 5 so it will still be easy to locate the volatile points on the graph. You should also label axis, if you are unable to do so just ask.

I tried to make it easier to look at for you.

One problem guys, maybe I'm missing something. If you look at the data, specifically the "earnings" returns, the first two returns are plotted at +20% on the graph, but the data doesn't match up. Is there something I'm missing?

Basically I am trying to graph the S&P500 earnings with the S&P values and find correlations.

I'm not sure why your chart is acting up, but in the attached I have created a similar chart that looks right (datawise)

That looks much more accurate. I'm not sure why mine looked so different; I was pretty sure we had the same inputs.

No me neither; but there probably is a good explanation. But it was easier to just create a new chart.
