    Cell Substitution Problem...

Hi there - a quick question. Am designing a tool for assessing organisational capacity, but am a bit stuck in one of the calculations...

In a cell (X12) of my worksheet is displayed a phrase either Fully Met, Partially Met or No, depending on calculations elsewhere in the worksheet.

In Cell C86, I want the figure from cell O17 to be displayed, but only if what is displayed in X12 is equal to Fully or Partially Met, if X12=No then Cell C86 should display "-".

Are you able to advise me on how best to do this as I've drawn a blank so far.

    Thanks!

    Re: Cell Substitution Problem...

    =IF(X12="No","",O17)

That should do it but it will show value if there is anything other then no in there

other then that it would be

    =IF(OR(X12={"Fully Met","Partially Met"}),O17,"")
