    Smile Referencing another worksheet

I am trying to reference cells contained in another workbook.

e.g. If I am in Workbook A and referencing Cell A1 in Workbook B on another directory. I have tried a few formats, but am having problems. The latest I have is below, but does not work. My main issue is how to format the formula to reference
    Workbook B.

    =IF('C:\ABC\DEF\[Workbook B.xls]Sheet1'!A2 = "XYZ", "YES", "NO")

    Re: Referencing another worksheet

    Open both workbooks.
go to workbook A, cell A1
    press the equals button.
then switch to the other workbook and select the cell you want (A2 in this case).

That will give you the correct format
