Cool Filtering Date field with "contains" Not getting expected results

I have Excell2007 database that has date field. Dates range over several months and years. I dont want the sort in assending or desending order, I want to filter all of the related fields by each month.

    Date fields would include:
    January 2008
    May 2009
    January 2010
    January 2007
    March 2001
    April 2010
    etc.. (65,000 entries)

I want to filter out all of the "January" as well as the other months. 1st I format the date field to read January 1, 2011
I go to FILTERS, CUSTOM FILTERS and select CONTAINS, I put the month I want however it returns nothing.

Any help or ideas would be greatly apreciated!

Hi Dhemme, welcome to the forum.

I have removed your attachment as it contained many names, addresses and phone numbers, amongst other possibly sensitive information. It did not look like "sample" or "fake" data. Please cleanse the workbook and insert fake information that resembles the type and layout of your real data.

    Thank you.
