Auto population of data pulled from another sheet depending on option selected

    Hi All,

I am creating a pricing/quoting template. I would like to be able to select an option from a drop down list, e.g ''Apple, Orange, Pear, Banana'' and depending on which item I select, a figure/price will automatically populate another cell. I would like to source the 'price' that is automatically selected from another sheet, as I do with the description. All I would then need to do is add the quantity in a third column and it would generate a total using simply calculation formulas. I can create drop down lists which pulls the description from another sheet no problem but am unable to get it to populate the price in the other cell from another sheet. Any suggestions? Thanks, C.

use a vlookup, based on the value of the dropdown, looking into your price list
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
