    matching 2 columns

Hi, i am searching on google all morning for this.
I have one excell file, it has 23 rows.
Row A and B are from another excel file and contain data that is synchronized.
Row C has the same numbers as row A but is not matching/synchronized BUT the data from row C til row W is synchronized alltogether, so that has to stay that way.
What i am looking for is a way to have row A with the synchronized row B, matching with rowC.
Because i need the data in row B to be synchronized with row C...how can i do that.
Row A has 11140 entries and row C has 8097 entries.
So, I want to match row A with row C but in the process also row B, row B is matched/synced to row A, and when row A matches with C, it still has to match with row A...and than remove the cells from A and B, that do not match.
if someone wants a example than please reply

Without a sample spreadsheet containing data and a before/after scenario this is gibberish to me...?

    Re: matching 2 columns

I created a new list containing all unique values from A and C, and then used =INDEX(MATCH()) to connect B and D to this new list. Is that what you need?

Ok, I updated the attachment in post #4, where I just copied the list from A, and connected B and D to it.
