Foumla query - Count a number column where a name is matched

Hi,

How do I do this?

Column A = Name eg "John Smith"
Column B = Days eg "8"
Column C = I want to count the amount of days John Smith has taken throughout the whole worksheet so if he appears twice with 8 days i want column C to say 16 next to each John Smith row

Try using Count function .. and if you are seeking for a result based on multiple criterias, use Countifs function... post the sample file in case of any issues. thanks.
