Question Applying Table Headers To Subsequent Pages in a Directory Mail Merge

Sample with merge fields.docx Sample invoice when merged to new doc.pdf
    Sample data.xlsx
    Hi there,

I have created a directory mail merge document that will be used as an invoice after reading some suggestions on a Catalouge Mailmerge Tutorial. I have set up the merge to populate in a table so it looks neat. I've added text before and after the merge. Its set up to create a page break once the invoice number changes(it is unpredictable when the break will occur because different account holders have more or less activity than others--there are some account holders who have invoices that extend up to 8 pages). Thus, I am trying to figure out if I can add table headers to subsequent pages. I tried using the table property "Repeat as header row at the top of each page" but that didn't seem to work with everything else I have going on in this document.

I have also tried to add sequence page numbers but I can't seem to get that to work accordingly either.

I am new to this forum and I have never posted a question on here so please let me know if I am not clear enough.

Thank you in advance to anyone who responds!

Re: Applying Table Headers To Subsequent Pages in a Directory Mail Merge

Hi Debby. Welcome to the forum.

It would help us identify the problem if you could attach a sample of the merge documents you're working with. To attach a file, push the button with the paperclip (or scroll down to the Manage Attachments button), browse to the required file, and then push the Upload button. Be sure to remove or replace any sensitive data before uploading.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:
