Excel 2007 : Copy and Paste Concatenated Cells

So I've had to Concatenate two rows of cells to combine words. I then want to take this list of cells and move it to another spot, but every time a try to copy and paste the cells re-separate. I've even tried to copy to notebook then move back to excel but the cells keep seperating. Is there any way to keep the cells separated when copy and pasting concatenated cells?

you may want to paste values over your formulas, then copy and paste those values, or when you past just be sure to paste values.

I've actually done that, but he list of words still separate when I copy to the back to the original spreadsheet. It looks like it has something to do with the space I'm adding, below is my forumla
=CONCATENATE(G1," ",H1)

that should not effect it... are you copying G1, H1, or the cell with the formula (probably I1)?
