transport add-in

Hi!
I have made an macro that sould always be used in a specific excelfile. I am wondering, if I save this file with the macro in a databse, will others be ale to use the macro? Or do I need to Transport it in some ways, maybe lika an add in ?

Hi, I suggest:

If you only want the macro to run in one file, save it in that file and it will be available to anyone who opens the file
If you want yourself to have access to the macro whenever you open any file in excel, but not other people, save it in your personal macro library
If you want to share it with others and let everyone access it from any file, create and share an addin
