Convert Postcodes to Map Reference or Longitude / Latitude

Hi All,

i have a list of over 400 addresses which i need to put onto a map. Fusion tables seems my best option unless someone can recommend something different?

I have full postcode for each address but need to convert these into map reference or longitude/latitude. It needs to be down to the full postcode and not just the outcode i.e WV13 2NX not just WV13.

Anyone got any suggestions? the only web based programmes i can find will only let me do one address at a time, and i dont fancy putting 445 addresses in!!!

I've attached an example of what i mean.

Have you tried the Ordnance Surveys' data?
Look here for a start
Code-Point® provides a precise geographical location for each postcode unit in the United Kingdom

Hi Marcol - thanks for reply, without sounding like a cheapskate i was hoping not to have to buy any software for this as its probably something i will never have to do again

Check the site thoroughly, they have many free downloads.

You might have to subscribe to the site, but again that's free.

I seem to remember a .csv file that might do your job, but exactly where I can't remember.
