My excel sheet working very slowly! why?

Sir, I have a problem with my excel sheet. It is only 5.76mb of size. Previously it was working fine, but when i entered some data from another sheet then-after it becomes very slow. It is taking about 2 minutes to open and then i have to wait to work on that data. Again when i click on any cell then again it takes some time to react. Please help me to find out the problem. I am waiting for your reply.
    Thanks in advance!

How did you enter and what was the data? By linking or copying, and Formulae or Constants?

Have you checked the used range (i.e. the last cell) on each sheet. You may find that formulae have been copied down to the very last row 1048576.

    Hi promits89,

Your workbook would be slow if the copied data contains too many formulas, links and formatting.

If you can reduce the formulas, links and formatting where possible and also importantly confirmed by Richard if you can check your last used range, it would solve ur concern to an extent.

    Thanks,
