Exclamation Need to create a grid from a data set

I have three columns of data (Name, Column 1, and Column 2). I need to get this data into a grid somehow with Column 1 and Column 2 as the x and y axis and Name inside the grid. Is there a way to do this by using an add-in or formula or program? I hate to do this manually every time.

Re: Need to create a grid from a data set

I suggest using a pivot table. There's good help in Excel for this function.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:

I've tried the pivot table but I need the Name in the data section, not the number (count, average, etc).
