Highlight rows w/ same column value

Hello everyone,

I need to highlight rows which have the same value in column D. I have almost zero excel experience, so I apologize for asking such a simple question...couldn't find a good answer on google.

Hi

You need Conditional format for this.

Highlight your range in column D.

In Conditional format rules, put this formula.

=COUNTIF($D$1:$D$100;$D1)>1

Choose your color>>>OK.

Thanks for your quick response! Something's still not working though, I've entered the formula and none of the rows are being highlighted. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? I've attached the excel file...I'm probably just missing something simple.

I do not see what did you try to do(there is nothing in Conditional format rules), so i can not tell you what you do wrong..

Take a look to the example.
