get rid of the enter button

hey guys. what im trying to do is, when i type a phrase into cell B1, one second after im done typing i need it to automaticly enter without me hitting the enter button.and i need it to stay on cell B1 forever.so when i start typing again ,its still on B1 and clears the previous text. i know it sounds lame, but im actually going to speak into the cell. is there a macro for this?

    I would say no.
Ctrl & Enter allows you to enter and stay in the same cell.
What happens it you say "control Enter"?

thanks for the reply. this is for a home automation system that ive built.the sheet works great . its just that little bug i need to work out.i can say control enter, but that takes away from the elegance of my control system. the excel spredsheet is an amazing tool.i dont think people relize what its capable of doing. my request has to be possible .
