    Protection and Edit Ranges

So I made some edits to a spread sheet today. But now, when I protect it, the ranges that I've input as allowable to edit when protected, allow me to enter, and even edit, the cells. But I can't delete the info in that cell. What gives?

    Re: Protection and Edit Ranges

"Deleting" causes cells to shift, probably cells that are protected. What you want to do is "Clear Contents." Was that the issue?
