Every day after the market closes I receive a file in .csv format via email to my MS Outlook. The file name has a unique date, and contains a list of commodities and their daily prices. The format of the columns and the rows are fixed and remain the same, all that changes is the date in the A column and the prices in the G column, each row is a different commodity.
I would like to, in as few steps as possible, record these prices in a master ledger, whereas the commodities are listed as rows and the columns are the unique dates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a mundane daily task I would like to automate as much as possible.
Thank you.
